36 Hour Travel Pass
🌿 Match ticket holders are entitled to a 36 Hour Travel Pass for the entire VRR (Verkehrsbund Rhein-Ruhr and VRS (Verkehrsbund Rhein-Sieg) network at no additional cost. The pass is valid from 06:00 on matchday until 18:00 the following day.
Make sure to find your recommended route to the stadium so you can enjoy the pre-match buzz and join other fans as you head to the game. 🏟️
Dortmund’s city centre is compact, making BVB Stadion Dortmund easily accessible on foot. Just follow the “Green Carpet” walkway, which takes you from Dortmund Central Station past the Fan Zone directly to the stadium. Public transport is also an option if you’d prefer not to walk.
Your entrance matters
🚪 Before you travel to the stadium, make sure to check your match ticket for the entrance that is assigned to your seat (A, B, C, D or E). Suggested matchday travel routes may differ depending on the entrance you use to enter the stadium.

⚠️ Please note that some U45 trains end at Westfalenhallen. Pay attention to the label on the train.

Download the mapThere is only one designated taxi drop-off point at the stadium. Taxis can stop on Wittekindstraße/Im Rabenloh near the B1 exit Messe West.
🚗 Stadium parking
⚠️ Public parking for the semi-final at BVB Stadium Dortmund is now sold out! Please do not drive to the stadium without a pre-booked parking pass.
- Pre-booking your spot is mandatory and no parking passes will be available to purchase on matchday. Cars without a parking pass will be turned away.
- City centre traffic will be extremely busy and it may take you much longer than expected to drive to the stadium. Set off with plenty of time to spare.
- Please note parking spaces may not be fully accessible. Dedicated accessible parking has been made available to Wheelchair and Easy Access ticket holders.
EURO 2024 climate fund
€5 from each booking will be donated to the EURO 2024 climate fund supporting climate protection projects.
If you have missed out on a parking pass for the semi-final, please make use of the P+R areas in Dortmund instead:
From 3 hours before kick-off until 100 minutes after the final whistle, a shuttle bus runs every 10 minutes from the car park to the stadium and back (10-minute bus ride).
The shuttle buses arrive at and depart from the Theodor-Fliedner-Heim bus stop. Please note that the arrival and departure points differ slightly.

👋 After the match
🚶 Since public transport is expected to be particularly busy after the game, we recommend walking back to the city centre or to Dortmund Central Station via the Green Carpet after the final whistle. If you still want to use public transport, you can leave by the same route you used to get to the stadium.
Extended Transport Services
🚇 During UEFA EURO 2024, daily public transport services will be extended well beyond midnight. Light rail services will run at the usual pace until 02:00, providing connections to local and long-distance railway stations. Sixteen additional Night Express (NE) bus lines will operate within Dortmund after 02:00. There is an around-the-clock service at weekends, with hourly departures from midnight to 05:00 on Saturdays and midnight to 07:00 on Sundays.
