Dortmund is ready to welcome hundreds of thousands passionate football fans from around the globe! 🎉

With the Fan Zone Friedensplatz and the Public Viewing Westfalenpark, Dortmund offers not one but two prime central Festival locations featuring a diverse array of programmes for everyone. In addition to numerous other activities, both locations feature a soccer and an activity area and, on certain days, live music.

🎉 Fan Zone Friedensplatz

Step into the heart of football excitement at the Fan Zone Friedensplatz. This will be buzzing with fun for the whole family – think football activities and mini-tournaments, music, gaming, screenings of all EURO 2024 matches and much more. Plenty of shaded areas and seats mean it’s the perfect place to drop in for a quick visit or to settle in for the afternoon.

🦸 CPR Training - Get trained, save lives!

Become part of the UEFA campaign, spearheaded by Ruud Gullit and backed by Manuel Neuer, Ana Maria Marković and Gareth Bale, and learn how to save a life! 🦺

 Visit the 'Get trained, save lives' booth in Fan Zone Friedensplatz daily between 13:00 and 23:30!

 The campaign is a joint initiative from UEFA and the ERC to raise awareness on the topic of sudden cardiac arrest and the importance of bystander CPR.

Take part in the CPR-race or visit the online-module where you will be trained by Erling Haaland and Thierry Henry.

You can look forward to a wide range of food and drink at the Fan Zone Friedensplatz. There’s something for every taste, from traditional German delicacies to local specialities and international dishes, including vegetarian and vegan options as well as a wide selection of beverages!

What is the admission procedure at the Fan Zone?

There are security checks, including bag and body searches, at the Fan Zone entrance.

Does the Fan Zone have a capacity limit?

The Fan Zone Friedensplatz is designed to hold up to 6,500 people. When the capacity limit has been reached, fans will no longer be allowed in and the “one in, one out” principle will apply, whereby one person is allowed to enter for every fan who leaves the Fan Zone. This can lead to waiting times.

Does the Fan Zone have special policies for bags or luggage?

House rules apply during operating times. Only bags and backpacks up to 3l in volume or DIN A4 (297 x 210 x 100mm) in size are permitted.

Glass and bottles of any kind are forbidden (except PET bottles up to 500ml in size).

📺 Public Viewing Westfalenpark

If you want an electric atmosphere, watching EURO 2024 with thousands of football fans in an iconic Dortmund setting, the Public Viewing in Westfalenpark is the place to go. Catch the live screening of selected matches, including all six matches played in Dortmund, every Germany game and the final.

The action continues even on days without match screenings, with concerts on 12 and 13 July and other top events.

Only bags and backpacks up to 3l in volume or A4 (297 x 210 x 100mm) in size are permitted.

Two-wheeled vehicles, skateboards, go-karts, roller skates/inline skates, e-scooters and similar means of transport are not permitted at Westfalenpark.

🎡 Spectacular

Dortmund is rolling out the “Green Carpet” for fans at EURO 2024. For the duration of the tournament, this 3.6km artificial lawn guides supporters from Dortmund Central Station to the stadium or the Public Viewing via Fan Zone Friedensplatz.
