๐ŸŒ Accessible travel to Dublin

By plane โœˆ๏ธ

If you require additional assistance, make sure you inform your airline, travel agent or tour operator at least 48 hours before the departure of your flight to Dublin. Visit the dedicated mobility and accessibility page for detailed information on the services and facilities available for travellers needing assistance at Dublin Airport.

By ferry โ›ด๏ธ

Ferries to and from Ireland use accessible ships. If you need assistance with getting on and off, itโ€™s recommended to give your ferry operator as much notice as possible so that they can make the necessary arrangements for you.

If you plan to arrive in Dublin by train, inform Irish Rail of your travel requirements so that they can ensure that staff will be available to provide assistance. Contact information and further details can be found on the Irish Rail accessibility page.

๐Ÿ™๏ธ Accessible travel around Dublin

Public transport in Dublin is fully accessible. The Luas tram is probably the easiest mode of transport if you have a mobility impairment, but all Dublin Bus vehicles have low-floor access too. Each Dublin Bus has the ability to transport two wheelchair users at once. Dublinโ€™s rail system is accessible, although contact the departing station in advance as assistance may have to be provided.

๐Ÿ…ฟ๏ธ Dedicated accessible parking spaces are available in the city centre for people with a valid Disabled Personโ€™s Parking Permit. Find their locations and more information on the Dublin City Council website.

๐ŸŸ๏ธ Accessible travel to the stadium

By public transport + Shuttle Bus ๐Ÿš‡๐Ÿš

From the city centre, the best way to reach Dublin Arena by public transport is via the DART train to Sandymount, as Lansdowne Road will be closed on matchday. To request assistance on and off the train, please contact your departure station at least 4 hours in advance.

From Sandymount, hop on the accessible Shuttle Bus that will take you to Sandymount Hotel, 350 metres from the stadium.

Road closures and travel disruptions are likely to affect your journey. We do not recommend taking a taxi to Dublin Arena, as there won't be any taxi drop-off or pick-up points near the stadium.

๐ŸŽ‰ Fan Festival accessibility

The Fan Festival is being held at Dublin Castle, in the heart of the city. It is accessible but please take extra care in some areas; there are cobblestones in the lower and upper courtyards and grass in the gardens of the castle.

The trophy will be displayed in the gardens, but you can also enjoy a nice view of it if you go to the lower courtyard via the main entrance of the castle.

The Giant Trophy area on North Earl Street is fully accessible.
