• Former Italy and AC Milan coach Arrigo Sacchi took his formative managerial steps at the Stadio Enrico Nanni with AC Bellaria Igea Marina.

• The venue was inaugurated in 1968 and named after Enrico Nanni, a Bellaria player who had died tragically a few years earlier.

• The Stadio Enrico Nanni hosts an annual tournament for youth sides, the Torneo Daniel Pecci, which this April featured selections from Serie A outfits Brescia Calcio and AC Cesena.

• Sammarinese international Andy Selva scored 22 league goals in 2002/03 for Bellaria, who also count Selva's compatriot Massimo Bonini among their former players. Bonini, who in 2004 was named San Marino's best player of the preceding 50 years, starred for Juventus from 1981 to 1988.
