Germany's Turid Knaak and the Netherlands' Lieke Martens have been crowned top scorers at the 2010 UEFA European Women's Under-19 Championship.

Although their teams bowed out in the semi-finals after penalty shoot-outs, Knaak and Martens's four group-stage goals apiece earned some personal reward for their endeavours in the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. Going into Saturday's final, where France beat England 2-1, there were several players from either side in contention but none were able to increase their tallies.

Rebecca Dempster finished third after scoring three for Scotland, taking her tally to ten for the campaign, including qualifying. That earned her top spot in the overall scoring charts, two ahead of another Dutch player, Ellen Jansen, and Bosnia and Herzegovina's Lidija Kuliš.
