The UEFA European Women's Under-19 Championship second qualifying round starts on Saturday, and there are some mouthwatering matchups as 24 sides vie for only seven final places.

It all kicks off in Sochi, Russia at 10.00CET where Spain and Iceland go head to head in Group 4. The tie of the day comes in Hungary, however, where France and Switzerland – semi-finalists 12 months ago – meet in Group 2 and the Swiss will be out for a measure of revenge having been beaten 2-0 by Les Bleuettes in Belarus last July.

Having been given a bye in the last round, five-time champions Germany go head to head with Poland while holders England continue their defence against the Republic of Ireland. Mo Marley's side's big challenge comes on Monday, when they face Group 1 mini-tournament hosts Sweden in a rematch of last year's final, which ended with a 2-0 victory for England.

Last year's finalists could both advance as the six section winners and the runners-up with the best record against the sides first and third in their pool will join hosts FYR Macedonia in the finals from 24 May to 5 June 2010. Their names will be known on Thursday 1 April after the last set of fixtures. Follow it all on UEFA.com.
