Usual suspects
Germany held their nerves to retain their trophy in Iceland last summer, prevailing after being taken to extra time first by France in the semi-finals, and then by surprise packages England in the subsequent showpiece. The holders began their defence in typical dominant style, and will be involved when the second, and final, qualifying round for France takes place from 24-29 April. Germany face Romania, Hungary and Russia in Group 3, while England take on Belgium, as well as Poland and Iceland, both tournament finalists nine months ago. The six group winners and the runners-up with the best record against the teams first and third in their pool will join the host nation in the final tournament, to be played in France from 7-19 July.
Win
To stand a chance of winning a signed ball, or the third prize of a UEFA radio and cosmetic bag, answer the following question:
Which team has won the most UEFA European Women's Under-19 Championships?
Please email your answer to info@uefa.com by 29 April with 'WU19 Quiz' as the subject and stating the address the prize should be sent to and your phone number. Winners will be drawn at random after the deadline from the correct entries.
