U20s plan glory hunt in Chile

FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup entrants Germany, England, France and Norway will compete in Chile from 20 November to 7 December 2008 after the dates were set.

Europe's four FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup contenders will face a trip to Chile next winter after the dates were set for the finals of the tournament's fourth edition.

Quartet in running
Germany, England, France and debutants Norway earned their places in the global competition by reaching the UEFA European Women's Under-19 Championship semi-finals in Iceland this summer, and FIFA has announced that the World Cup will take place from 20 November until 7 December 2008. In all, 16 nations will be involved in games at Coquimbo, La Florida, Chillan and Temuco, with other confirmed qualifiers being hosts Chile, holders North Korea – who took the title off Germany in 2006 in Russia – and their Asian rivals Japan and China.
