Mittag keeps on firing

Germany striker Anja Mittag remains on top of the goalscoring charts after another goal against Spain.

Anja Mittag remains on top of the UEFA European Women's Under-19 Championship goalscoring chart after taking her tally to five in three games with a solitary goal in Germany's 7-0 win against Spain.

Mittag magic
Mittag is the only player to score in every group game, having scored once against Finland and a hat-trick against neighbours Switzerland. There were six scorers in Germany's record tournament victory, with winger Simone Laudehr scoring twice to take her tournament tally to three alongside Serena Coppolino. The Italy forward was again unable to add to her opening day hat-trick.

Two's company
Coppolino's team-mate Penelope Riboldi opened her championship account with two goals in Italy's dramatic 3-2 defeat by France, while another Germany player, Lena Goessling, added another goal to move to two. Russian Elena Terekhova's early goal against Norway also took her to two where she joins German captain Annike Krahn, Spanish trio Iraia, Jade and Irune, and Italy striker Agnese Ricco who missed today's game through suspension. UEFA will award a trophy to the leading scorer at the end of the tournament.
