Slovakia host the UEFA European Women's Under-19 Championship final tournament between 19 and 31 July 2016. This will be the first women's final tournament in Slovakia, which held the 2000 men's U21 and 2013 men's U17 EUROs.

Route to the finals
Seven qualifiers joined the hosts in the finals. An initial qualifying round involving 44 teams took place in September, with half of them advancing to April's elite round. Spain and England had byes through the initial stage, entering the competition in the elite round when teams were drawn into six groups of four. The section winners and best runners-up made the finals.
