The UEFA European Women's Under-17 Championship round 2 draw at 09:00 CET on Friday 6 December will set the groups for both leagues, to be completed by 23 March.
The teams are split into two leagues as set by round 1.
Round 2: League A contenders
Round 1 League A group winners: England, Germany, Italy, Norway, Scotland, Spain (holders), Switzerland
Round 1 League A group runners-up: Austria, Belgium, Czechia, Finland, France, Poland, Portugal
Round 1 League A group third-placed teams: Croatia, Denmark, Greece, Iceland, Netherlands, Türkiye, Wales
Round 1 League B promoted teams: Georgia*, Hungary, Kosovo, Serbia, Slovakia, Sweden, Ukraine

Round 2: League B contenders
Round 1 League A relegated teams: Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Faroe Islands (finals hosts), Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Slovenia
Round 1 League B group runners-up (minus promoted team): Albania*, Estonia*, Luxembourg*, North Macedonia, Romania

League A will determine the seven teams joining hosts Faroe Islands in the finals from 4 to 17 May, with promotion and relegation between the leagues also at stake. The Faroe Islands will take part in League B although their finals place as hosts is assured.
The tournament also acts as UEFA's qualifier for the 2025 U-17 Women's World Cup in Morocco from 17 October to 8 November.
How the draw works
League A
Based on round 1 results, the 28 teams allocated to League A are divided into four draw pots as follows:
Pot 1: Norway, Switzerland, Scotland, Germany, England, Spain, Italy
Pot 2: Portugal, Czechia, Poland, Belgium, Finland, Austria, France
Pot 3: Netherlands, Croatia, Denmark, Iceland, Türkiye, Greece, Wales
Pot 4: Sweden, Serbia, Ukraine, Slovakia, Hungary, Kosovo, Georgia
Draw condition
Group runners-up from League A round 1 are drawn against group winners from a different group
Therefore the following pairs of teams should not meet:
Switzerland & Portugal
Germany & Belgium
England & Czechia
Scotland & Poland
Italy & France
Spain & Austria
Norway & Finland
Draw procedure
The 28 teams are drawn into seven groups of four teams. The draw starts with Pot 1, which contains seven balls. The drawn teams are assigned to the groups in ascending order from A1 to A7, except if a draw condition applies.
- A first ball is drawn and the team assigned to Group A1.
- A second ball is drawn and the team assigned to Group A2.
- A third ball is drawn and the team assigned to Group A3.
- A fourth ball is drawn and the team assigned to Group A4.
- A fifth ball is drawn and the team assigned to Group A5.
- A sixth ball is drawn and the team assigned to Group A6.
- The seventh ball is drawn and the team assigned to Group A7.
The draw continues with Pot 2, Pot 3 and Pot 4 and follows the same rules as described above for Pot 1. When a draw condition occurs, the team drawn is allocated to the first available group in numerical order and another team is drawn to complete the position left free. Should this be possible when drawing the last groups, the teams will be drawn and will be assigned to the groups.
Qualification/relegation
- The seven League A group winners will qualify for the final tournament in the Faroe Islands from 4 to 17 May, joining the hosts in the draw on 26 March.
- The seven teams placed fourth in their group in League A will be relegated to League B for round 1 of the next edition.
League B
Based round 1 results, the 21 teams allocated to League B are divided into four draw pots as follows:
Pot 1: Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, Belarus, Slovenia
Pot 2: Faroe Islands, Luxembourg, Romania, Albania, Estonia, North Macedonia
Pot 3: Israel, Lithuania, Latvia, Moldova, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan
Pot 4: Montenegro, Andorra, Malta
Draw condition
Teams that played in three-team groups in round 1 will be drawn into four-team groups in round 2: Albania, Israel, Azerbaijan, Luxembourg, Estonia, Kazakhstan
