Estonia, Sweden and the Faroe Islands have been chosen to host the UEFA European Women’s Under-17 Championship final tournaments of 2023, 2024 and 2025 respectively by the UEFA Executive Committee at its meeting in Montreux.
For Estonia it will be the first women’s final tournament to be held in their nation, though they previously staged the men’s U19 EURO of 2012. Sweden and the Faroe Islands were previously to stage the Women’s U17 final tournaments of 2020 and 2021 respectively, but both were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Both will stage this competition for the first time though Sweden has wide experience of hosting final tournaments, not least UEFA Women’s EURO 2013. Bosnia and Herzegovina was previously selected as host nation for 2022.
