UEFA has announced today that WIESENHOF, a leading Germany-based poultry producer, has become an Official National Partner of UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 taking place in Switzerland from 2 to 27 July. This marks WIESENHOF’s first time sponsoring the competition.
Building on the success of the company’s UEFA EURO 2024 partnership which saw the giveaway of over 1,000 match tickets, the excitement will return from 1 April to 30 June, when fans will have chances to win match tickets and exclusive prizes through various promotions. In addition, the WIESENHOF brand will be visible on LED perimeter boards during matches as well as on media backdrops at matches and press conferences.
Guy-Laurent Epstein, UEFA marketing director, said: “We are thrilled to welcome WIESENHOF back to the UEFA commercial family following our successful partnership during UEFA EURO 2024. Our previous collaboration demonstrated the impressive power and reach of WIESENHOF's distribution network, as well as their commitment to bringing their sponsorship to life through engaging promotional campaigns. This renewed partnership will offer countless fans the opportunity to win unforgettable experiences at UEFA Women's EURO 2025, further enhancing the connection between the tournament and its supporters.”
Dr Ingo Stryck, Head of Marketing at the PHW Group, said: “The response to our first partnership with UEFA was overwhelming. We enabled more than 1,000 sports-loving fans to attend the European Football Championship in Germany by winning tickets in prize draws. A unique experience that will be remembered. The feedback from our retail partners was also extremely positive, as we generated a great deal of interest at the point of sale. We now want to build on this success by sponsoring UEFA Women's EURO 2025. This is the next logical step for us, as our partner, the DFB women, have already qualified for the European Championship. We will use the resulting synergies in a targeted manner to create unique experiences with our WIESENHOF, BRUZZZLER and GREEN LEGEND brands.”
UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 will take place in eight host cities: Basel, Bern, Geneva, Zurich, St. Gallen, Lucerne, Sion and Thun. The 16 teams will be split into four groups of four at the final tournament draw taking place at the SwissTech Convention Center in Lausanne, Switzerland, from 18:00 CET on Monday 16 December.
WIESENHOF joins Miele Switzerland, Swisscom and Swissquote as Official National Partners of the competition.
