European-scale interest confirmed with five potential bids for UEFA Women’s EURO 2029

Germany, Italy, Poland, Portugal and Denmark/Sweden potential bids for the championship.

UEFA today confirmed that it has received declarations of interest to host the 2029 edition of the UEFA Women’s EURO from five potential bidders following the deadline of 24 September, underlining the pan-European growth of women’s football across different regions and the widespread interest in UEFA competitions.

Germany, Italy, Poland and Portugal declared their interest in hosting the 2029 edition of UEFA’s flagship competition, as well as the football associations of Denmark and Sweden, who declared their interest together in a joint bid.

The appointment of host(s) of UEFA Women’s EURO 2029 will be made in December 2025.

Ticket sales launched for UEFA Women’s EURO 2025

UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 will be held across eight host cities in Switzerland from 2 to 27 July 2025. Tickets are now available from CHF 25 on a first come, first served basis via www.womenseuro.com/tickets.
