Russia took apart their Under-19 counterparts 11-0 in their final preparation match for UEFA WOMEN'S EURO 2009™ as Igor Shalimov's 22-player squad prepare for their Group C campaign.

Russia took apart their Under-19 counterparts 11-0 in their final preparation match for UEFA WOMEN'S EURO 2009™ as their 22-player squad prepare for their Group C campaign.

Tsydikova form
Goalkeeper Elvira Todua appeared in the match and will travel as part of the squad after missing the recent friendlies with Germany and the Netherlands due to a cruciate ligament injury. FC Energia Voronezh midfielder Svetlana Tsydikova helped herself to a hat-trick against the U19s and she will be looking to impress in Finland too, as will fellow scorers Olesya Kurochkina, who struck twice, Valentina Savchenkova, Olga Petrova, Elena Fomina, Elena Terekhova and Elena Danilova. Defender Elena Suslova, who also hit the target, has not been included. Igor Shamilov's charges open their Group C campaign against Sweden in Turku on 25 August and then face England and Italy.
