Olympique Lyonnais have strengthened their squad ahead of their bid for a third straight UEFA Women's Champions League title.
Having retained their European crown in Munich last month to go with a French double, Lyon have added Paris Saint-Germain FC and France midfielder Élise Bussaglia, striker Laetitia Tonazzi from fellow UEFA Women's Champions League entrants FCF Juvisy Essonne and Rodez AF defender Laura Agard. Bussaglia, who with several Lyon players has been included in Bruno Bini's Olympic squad, was named 2011 French women's footballer of the year.
Making way are two Lyon stalwarts – 185-goal all-time club top scorer Sandrine Brétigny and defender Sandrine Dusang. Also leaving are goalkeeper Céline Deville for Montpellier Hérault SC, Aurélie Kaci and Brazilian midfielder Rosana. Lyon, like Juvisy, will begin the 2012/13 UEFA Women's Champions League in the round of 32.
