UEFA Women's Champions League finalists Lyon beat Soyaux-Charente 9-0 on Monday to seal their 11th consecutive French championship with two games to go.

Since 2004, when Olympique Lyonnais took over the former FC Lyon, they have risen to first domestic and now European supremacy. When they play Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Women's Champions League final in Cardiff on 1 June, Lyon will be aiming to equal FFC Frankfurt's record of four titles, by which stage they will hope to have clinched their sixth straight domestic double.
