Report
1. FFC Frankfurt 7-0 Bristol Academy WFC (agg: 12-0)
A 5-0 win last weekend in England made the second leg a formality for the three-time winners, who have now equalled Umeå IK's record of reaching seven semi-finals. Indeed, any lingering hopes Bristol may have harboured evaporated after eight minutes when Kerstin Garefrekes squared close to goal for Kozue Ando to tap into an empty net.

Frankfurt built on their opener to remain in command thanks to some nicely orchestrated moves, with Jessica Fishlock finding the inside of the post with a header around the half-hour – but, out of the blue, Bristol's Angharad James forced Anne-Kathrine Kremer to save with her feet at the near post.

Shortly before the break, lively playmaker Dzsenifer Marozsán doubled Frankfurt's lead from short range, after her first effort had been blocked. Then, five minutes after the interval, Fishlock nodded against the upright once again, but Mandy Islacker made it 3-0 shortly before the hour, volleying in Peggy Kuznik's flick-on from close range. Islacker soon pounced again from short range, after a Bristol player had stopped a Kuznik header on the goal line.

Islacker completed her hat-trick shortly afterwards, once more scoring from the rebound. Substitute Laura Störzel made it 6-0 with her first European goal, heading in a Marozsán free-kick, and 17-year-old academy product Jana Löber converted a penalty in added time, Grace McCatty having felled Ana Maria Crnogorčević.

With that, Bristol's best ever European run came to a punishing end. Next season, 2014 champions Liverpool LFC and debutants Chelsea LFC will represent England.
