Olympique Lyonnais midfielder Camille Abily will miss both legs of the UEFA Women's Champions League round of 16 tie with Paris Saint-Germain after suffering a knee injury in France's 2-0 friendly win in Germany.
Abily was replaced 13 minutes into the Offenbach fixture in which France ended their fellow FIFA Women's World Cup contenders' 18-match winning streak. Further scans revealed a sprained medial collateral ligament, ruling the 29-year-old out for a month.
That means she will miss Saturday's home league encounter with Paris where both sides defend perfect records, and then the eagerly-awaited European tie on 8 November in the capital and four days later at Stade de Gerland. Last season Lyon lost in the last 16 to 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam, ending the two-time winners' run of four straight finals.
