Both two-time winners Olympique Lyonnais and Bristol Academy WFC secured comfortable away victories in the last two of the UEFA Women's Champions League round of 32 first legs to be played, seeing off ACF Brescia and Raheny United.
ACF Brescia 0-5 Olympique Lyonnais
• Lyon swept the Italian debutants aside, taking the lead on 12 minutes through Louise Necib's 25-metre free-kick. Lotta Schelin added a second when she turned Eugénie Le Sommer's cross in with the aid of the far post and the Sweden forward turned provider when Wendie Renard managed to convert her cross from close range. Schelin also set up the fourth early in the second half for Le Sommer at the near post and the same combination provided Lyon's fifth; after next Wednesday's return leg it seems they will be heading for a round of 16 showdown with Paris Saint-Germain.
Raheny United 0-4 Bristol Academy WFC
• Bristol look in a strong position for the return at Ashton Gate a week tonight, bolstered by two added-time goals in Dublin. Nicola Watts teed up the opener for Natasha Harding just before the half-hour and the same pair supplied the second on 78 minutes, Watts's shot being tipped onto the bar by the excellent Niahm Reid-Burke and Harding pouncing. Watts then converted a penalty two minutes past the 90 and there was still time for Natalia to finally beat Reid-Burke.
