Tyresö FF and Sweden midfielder Caroline Seger will play for UEFA Women's Champions League hopefuls Paris Saint-Germain next season.
Seger helped Tyresö to the final of the 2013/14 UEFA Women's Champions League, where they lost to VfL Wolfsburg. The Swedish outfit beat Paris 2-1 on aggregate en route to that showpiece, in the round of 32. Seger, who has 112 caps for her country, will link up with international team-mate Kosovare Asllani in the French capital. No contract details have yet been announced. "I'm very proud and happy to join this project," said Seger. "Being part of such a big club is very special to me."
Seger, 29, moved to Tyresö from FC Malmö in 2012. Her only previous spell abroad came at Philadelphia Independence in the United States in 2010/11. Tyresö, meanwhile, have withdrawn from the Damallsvenskan due to their financial troubles and released their squad.
