Paris Saint-Germain FC have made a clear signal of their intent after re-signing French internationals Marie-Laure Delie and Laura Georges.
The pair, currently on international duty ahead of UEFA Women's EURO 2013, were on the capital club's books before moving away. Striker Delie, now 25, left for Montpellier Hérault SC in 2008 while the 28-year-old Georges, a PSG player from 2003 to 2007, has spent the last six successful seasons at title holders Olympique Lyonnais.
Georges brings the experience of two UEFA Women's Champions League triumphs to the club who are ready to launch a tilt at the competition themselves after finishing second in the French top flight last term. PSG are also looking further ahead, having captured two members of the 2012 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup-winning side: midfielder Ghoutia Kharchouni from Lyon and striker Léa Declercq from FCF Hénin-Beaumont. They will begin the UEFA Women's Champions League in the round of 32.
