VfL Wolfsburg are reeling from a double injury blow after Ivonne Hartmann and Zsanett Jakabfi were ruled out of both legs of their UEFA Women's Champions League semi-final showdown with Arsenal LFC on 14 and 21 April.

Hartmann suffered ligament damage to her left foot during training on Thursday, ruling the defender out for up to a month. Midfielder Jakabfi, who has scored twice in six outings, will not play again this season, meanwhile, after succumbing to an ankle injury.

"It's a massive blow," said coach Ralf Kellermann. "The season is over for Zsanett. She will miss the most important weeks of the campaign, while Ivonne had just started to find her feet. We will surely feel her absence."
