With Olympique Lyonnais gearing up to defend their UEFA Women's Champions League title against 1. FFC Frankfurt on Thursday, UEFA.com met up with key players Sonia Bompastor and Camille Abily, as well as coach Patrice Lair, to get their thoughts on the challenge ahead.

The Olympiastadion in Munich will play host to the final and, for midfielder Abily, the current Lyon side is stronger than the one that beat 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam 2-0 in last year's showpiece. "We actually have the same team – some new players have arrived, but most of us were here last year," said the French international. "Day by day, we know our game better and better, and we gained experience last year by winning the final against Potsdam in Fulham."

"During the whole competition this year we have scored 37 goals, I think, and we have conceded only one, so it's been a very good campaign," added left-back Bompastor in similarly optimistic fashion. Meanwhile, Lair feels Frankfurt are there for the taking. "This year they have a great team, but they lack the collective aspect a bit," he said. "We'll try to use this to our advantage."
