FCR 2001 Duisburg defender Annike Krahn is a doubt for the UEFA Women's Cup semi-final against Olympique Lyonnais after suffering an ankle injury that has ruled her out of Germany's forthcoming pre-UEFA WOMEN'S EURO 2009™ warm-ups.

Injury
The 23-year-old pulled up in training on Thursday and has torn ligaments in her right ankle, ruling her out for between four and six weeks. Krahn, capped 47 times by her country, will definitely miss the resumption of the Frauen-Bundesliga season when the fourth-placed team travel to VfL Wolfsburg on Sunday as well as Germany's 25 February friendly against China in Bielefeld and the Algarve Cup from 4-11 March. She faces a race against time to be back to fitness when European debutants Duisburg tackle Lyon, with the first leg in France on 28 March and the home return on 5 April.
