Olympique Lyonnais defender Sandrine Dusang will miss the remainder of her side's UEFA Women's Cup campaign, and possibly UEFA WOMEN'S EURO 2009™, after sustaining a cruciate ligament damage in training last week.

Surgery mooted
The 24-year-old, capped 42 times by France, picked up the injury while attempting to control a ball in training and Lyon have already accepted that their captain will not play for them again this season, as they gear up to meet FCR 2001 Duisburg in the Women's Cup semi-finals on 28 March and 5 April. A French domestic champion in the last two seasons, Dusang may undergo surgery later this week as she looks to compete at UEFA WOMEN'S EURO 2009™ in Finland from 23 August.
