Classy Umeå seal Arsenal date

Umeå IK 6-0 Kolbotn IL (agg: 11-1)
The Swedish champions eased through to become the first team to reach four UEFA Women's Cup finals.

Umeå IK won the second leg of their semi-final against Kolbotn IL in more emphatic fashion than they had the first to reach their fourth UEFA Women's Cup final with a record 11-1 aggregate success.

Masterclass
With the Swedish champions having triumphed 5-1 in Norway last week, Kolbotn coach Aksel Bergo admitted his side had "no chance" of reaching a first showpiece. They had hoped to restore lost pride at Gammliavallen, only to go down to another attacking masterclass against an Umeå team who will now face Arsenal LFC, 5-2 aggregate conquerors of Brøndby IF yesterday, over two legs for the European crown in April.

Twice winners
Sweden striker Hanna Ljungberg and Brazil forward Marta had each scored two goals in the victory in Oslo, and both added two more today. Finland star Anne Mäkinen and fellow midfielder Malin Moström scored the other goals as Umeå, winners of this competition in 2003 and 2004, hit six without reply.
