The 1. FFC Potsdam and Germany striker Conny Pohlers knows 1. FFC Frankfurt will be determined to reclaim their European crown when the Bundesliga clubs contest the UEFA Women's Cup final.

Rivalry
The clubs have enjoyed a fascinating rivalry in recent seasons, and their battle for European supremacy will enthrall followers of the women's game across the continent. "It is unbelievably beautiful," Pohlers said. "The biggest game ever in our sport in Germany. We set out to win three trophies this season and having won the league and cup are determined to complete the hat-trick."

'Luck'
However, with Frankfurt set to miss out on a place in next season's UEFA Women's Cup unless they triumph over two legs to be played over the next two Saturdays, Pohlers is expecting a far tougher test than in the league matches between the clubs. "We've had a bit of luck this season, scoring a few goals in the dying minutes, whereas Frankfurt haven't had that," she continued.

'Superb fight'
"We've played them three times this season but cannot be complacent as we all know what is at stake for 1. FFC. If they lose this final they won't be in Europe next season. That alone will ensure that the tie will be a superb fight in both matches."
