Meet Rita Ora with UEFA's 'What is Strong?' campaign

Rita Ora is offering fans an opportunity to meet her as part of UEFA's newest women's football initiative.

Meet Rita Ora with UEFA's 'What is Strong?' campaign

A new campaign launched today by UEFA celebrating the physical, emotional and mental strength of women and girls across Europe has earned the backing of pop superstar Rita Ora – and now you have the chance to meet her!

The international singer/songwriter, actress and fashion designer has voiced the first 'What is Strong?' film for UEFA's newest initiative, which you can watch above.

Competition

Ora, who also supported UEFA's Together #WePlayStrong campaign, has kicked off an Instagram competition as part of the project. One lucky fan will have the opportunity to meet Rita next month, to chat all things music and football.

As part of the initiative, We Play Strong have created a new series of Instagram GIFs and are asking you to use them to answer one question: what does strong mean to you?

By uploading your answer to Instagram Stories, tagging and following @WePlayStrong, all girls are automatically entered into a competition to win a VIP weekend to Rita Ora's Slessor Gardens gig in Dundee, Scotland on 28 July – including a meeting with the star hereself.

Players throughout Europe are already revealing what strong means to them, and Rita Ora has her own opinion: "For me, strong is about being who you want to be, and not being afraid of expressing yourself.

"I wanted to get involved in this campaign because I believe strength should be defined on your own terms, and that women and girls need to know that strength comes in many different forms.

"Strength can be physical, emotional and mental, and I think it's fantastic that We Play Strong are encouraging girls across Europe to express what 'strong' means to them. I'm delighted to have been able to play a part in supporting the initiative, and I'm looking forward to meeting our winner in Dundee."

Next month We Play Strong will release a three-part documentary in which three international women's players explain what makes them 'strong' and how they used the platform of football to grow: Fran Kirby (Chelsea/England), Nilla Fischer (Wolfsburg/Sweden) and Shanice van de Sanden (Lyon/Netherlands).

The real-life topics include sexuality, mental health and gender equality in football.

So ... what does strong mean to you?
