• Opened in 1917, the arena underwent major renovation work in 1994 to transform it into an all-seater venue and to remove the running track that separated the pitch from the stands.
• Home to Sparta Praha, the Letná Stadium is a regular venue for the Czech national side's home matches, most recently the UEFA EURO 2016 qualifier against the Netherlands in September 2014.
• The city of Prague has a population of 1.26 million and is famous for its historical centre, Prague Castle, Charles Bridge and medieval architecture. Czech cuisine and beer are popular with tourists.
