Denmark saw off Andorra 2-0 to remain unbeaten and one point clear at the UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying Group 2 summit.
Two goals within the space of 16 first-half minutes from Kenneth Zohore and Yussuf Poulsen steered the visitors to their fifth win in seven outings and set up an enticing showdown with second-placed Russia next September. Andorra, meanwhile, remain winless at the foot of the section.
Denmark took a vice-like grip on the game from the outset, with Youssef Toutouh and Poulsen a constant threat from the flanks. It therefore came as little surprise when a free-flowing move down the right resulted in Zohore heading in Christoffer Remmer's pinpoint cross. Poulsen then latched onto Toutouh's centre to double the advantage.
Andorra's task became mountainous seven minutes into the second half when Jesus Rubio was shown a red card. Jess Thorup's side proceeded to dominate and almost made it three when Toutouh rattled the frame of the goal from close range.
