Estonia moved up a position into third as they reached the halfway stage of their UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying Group 2 campaign with victory over Andorra at a snowy Estadi Comunal.
The section's bottom team comfortably resisted the advances of their visitors in temperatures of -5C until Maksim Lipin struck six minutes after the restart. A long-range effort from Aleksandr Kulinitš sealed Estonia's second win and somewhat made amends for the 1-1 draw Martin Reim's side could only manage on home soil against the minnows in June.
Estonia will climb to within two points of Russia if they defeat their second-placed opponents in Krasnodar on Tuesday, when leaders Denmark take on Andorra.
