Simon Gustafsson struck in the last minute of added time as Sweden hit back to deny Turkey a second UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying win.
The hosts looked set for victory when Kerim Koyunlu completed their comeback from a goal down three minutes from time. Yet Gustafsson, a 79th-minute substitute, had other ideas as he struck to make it honours even and leave four teams within three points of the Group 7 summit.
It was perhaps what Hakan Ericson's men deserved after just about edging procedings at the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Stadium. Melker Hallberg broke the deadlock on 31 minutes but home skipper Musa Çağıran hit back just before half-time – drama at the end of the half would be a theme.
