Goals from Attila Fiola and substitute Balázs Balogh condemned Liechtenstein to their eighth successive defeat in UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying Group 7 and ensured Hungary signed off in buoyant mood.
Fiola opened the scoring for the hosts, who finish fourth in the five-team section, six minutes before half-time when he poked in the rebound after Roland Varga had struck a post with a free-kick.
Antal Róth's men struggled to fashion clear-cut openings thereafter, however, and only made the points safe in added time, Balogh scoring with almost his first touch.
