The Czech Republic will hold the 2015 UEFA European Under-21 Championship after they were selected as final tournament hosts by the UEFA Executive Committee at its meeting in Istanbul.
The 2015 edition will be the last U21 tournament before the competition reverts to even numbered years the following summer. It is the first time the Czech Republic – winners in 2002 – will have staged the U21 finals, and the country's first national-team event since the U19s in 2008.
The news follows last year's announcement that Prague's Eden Stadium will host the UEFA Super Cup in 2013.
The current U21 competition concludes in Israel in June 2013.
