Andreas Alkiviadou scored an added-time winner for Cyprus against San Marino to keep his side in UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying contention.
Defender Nicholas Killas turned in Emilios Panagiotou's corner to give the visitors the lead three minutes before the break. Manuel Battistini then scored San Marino's first goal in qualifying just after half-time and had seemingly earned them their first point but Cyprus were not to be denied.
Alkiviadou's strike in the third minute of added time gave Savvas Paraskevas's charges their third victory and condemned San Marino to a seventh straight defeat. The success moves Cyprus a point behind second-placed Bosnia and Herzegovina in Group 1, though they have played two games more.
