A Billy Bodin double helped Wales to a comfortable 4-0 UEFA European Under-21 Championship Group 3 win against Andorra in Wrexham on the day the nation paid tribute to Gary Speed.
As the first team prepared to honour the memory of their late manager against Costa Rica in Cardiff, the next generation of Welsh internationals were putting in a fine performance. The impressive Bodin struck in the 22nd and 33rd minutes, his second strike a thunderous volley from inside the area which left Andorra keeper Daniel Vinardell with no chance.
Andorra found themselves 3-0 down just before the break when David Stephens' header was diverted into the net by the unlucky Xavier Vieira. Ryan Doble added a fourth on the hour, firing home from an acute angle, to send the 2,000-strong crowd home happy.
