Article body
Two goals in quick succession from Andreas Pittaras helped Cyprus defeat Norway and move off the foot of UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying Group 7 at the expense of their opponents.
Pittaras's efforts, on 59 and 65 minutes, came after Valentinos Sielis had headed a 51st-minute opener past Lars Stubhaug. Mohammed Fellah's expertly-taken free-kick 12 minutes from time was scant consolation for a Norway team who have now lost their last five matches in the section. Cyprus conclude their campaign at home to Serbia on Tuesday, when Norway visit Slovakia.
