Belarus and Scotland remain in the hunt to top UEFA European Under-21 Championship Group 10 after drawing their penultimate qualifier 1-1 in Borisov on Friday.
The home side took the lead in some style nine minutes before the break. Vladimir Yurchenko danced past two visiting defenders on the right flank before whipping in a cross which Pavel Nekhaychik converted.
Belarus were made to pay for not extending their advantage in the 64th minute as Christopher Maguire made no mistake from the penalty spot after Paul Coutts was brought down.
Both teams have 14 points along with Austria going into Tuesday's final round of qualifiers when Belarus return to this stadium to take on Azerbaijan, and Scotland welcome Austria to Aberdeen. Only the section winners will definitely secure a spot in next Friday's play-off draw.
