Romania initiated the new Municipal Stadium in Ramnicu Valcea with a comfortable 3-0 win against Bosnia-Herzegovina in UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying Group 10.
Comfortable win
The home team dominated from beginning to end, and were ahead on five minutes when Gabriel Torje struck from the left of the penalty area. Half an hour later it was 2-0 as captain Claudiu Keseru's brilliant pass was finished off by Torje. Keseru spurned a number of chances after this but he headed the third with 14 minutes left. Erik Bicfalvi hit the crossbar immediately afterwards but by then victory was already secure. Romania are three points clear at the top of the group, at least until France visit Malta on Wednesday. France is third-place Bosnia-Herzegovina's next destination on 12 October, four days later Les Bleuets go to Romania.
