Bosnia-Herzegovina are off to a winning start in 2009 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying Group 10 after a comfortable defeat of Malta.
Victory sealed
With three minutes played the home captain Petar Jelić turned in Dario Purića's pass to open the scoring. Bosnia-Herzegovina piled on the pressure and after several missed chances increased their advantage not long before the half-hour mark when Eldin Adilović was set up by Admir Aganović. The same player struck again just before the hour and Ozren Perić sealed the win late on. His team go to joint-leaders Romania on Tuesday while Malta welcome the other pacesetters France the following day.
