Article body
Royston Drenthe's Midas touch shows no signs of abating after he scored his second goal in as many UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifiers, firing in a second-half penalty as holders the Netherlands beat Norway 1-0.
Larsen woe
One of the players of the tournament as the Dutch hosts claimed the title this summer, the Real Madrid CF starlet struck the only goal of their Group 5 opener against F.Y.R. Macedonia a fortnight ago and repeated the feat in Fredrikstad. He decided a tightly-fought contest 19 minutes from time, picking himself up following a Jørgen Horn foul and drilling in the spot-kick. Horn was sent off for the offence and Norway, who had earlier missed a penalty of their own through Kevin Larsen, could find no way back.
