Article body
England made a flying start to their UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying campaign with two early goals paving the way for a comfortable win in Montenegro.
Quick double
Steven Taylor and Gabriel Agbonlahor linked up to tee up Nedum Onuoha to head in the opening goal with just six minutes gone and a second strike quickly followed. Theo Walcott was the architect this time as he fed Agbonlahor and the Aston Villa FC forward finished with aplomb to put Stuart Pearce's side two goals ahead inside ten minutes. Montenegro tried their best to force England on to the back foot but their hopes were extinguished in added time when debutant Andrew Surman completed the scoring following a lovely move involving James Milner and Agbonlahor.
