Donk in doubt for the Dutch

Ryan Donk may miss the Netherlands' UEFA European Under-21 Championship opener against Israel after being forced to leave the training camp for family reasons.

Family issues
The 21-year-old AZ Alkmaar player missed training on Friday after returning to be with his family and it is not yet clear whether he will return in time for Sunday's opening game at the Abe Lenstra Stadium in Heerenveen. The Amsterdam-born defender was expected to be in coach Foppe de Haan's starting lineup. The rest of the Dutch squad trained on Friday as usual.
