Danko Lazovic set up Bosko Jankovic for Serbia and Montenegro's opener after 17 minutes, and captain Lazovic doubled the lead from the penalty spot seven minutes later.

After 29 minutes, the home side were reduced to ten men by the dismissal of Nikola Vasiljevic for a second bookable offence, but it took until two minutes into the second half for the visitors to press home their advantage with Marko Perovic scoring from 20 metres.
Consolation
Bosnia-Herzegovina recovered some pride eight minutes from time as Senaid Ibricic produced a tidy finish to Damir Memisevic's throughpass. However, they remain pointless after two games, while Serbia and Montenegro lead the group with a maximum six.
