Norway start strongly
Victory was crucial for either side's hopes of reaching the play-offs, and the visitors started strongly forcing three corners in the first ten minutes. A quarter-hour later, Kristian Ystaas forced Bosnian goalkeeper Muhamed Alaim to save, and Norway were clearly on top.

First-half goals
They took the lead in the 37th minute when Are Tronseth's cross was converted from close range by Morten Pedersen. Within three minutes, that advantage was doubled when Ystaas scored.

Home side respond
The home side's first clear chance came just after the break when Dragan Blatnak's free-kick hit the post. Alaim then denied Trond Ludvigsen in a one-on-one but at the other end Norway goalkeeper Per Kristiansen had to pull off a save from Alen Skoro.

Victory secured
Again it was the end of the half that produced goals. Norway wrapped up the victory three minutes from time when captain Azar Karadas scored a penalty. Bosnia-Herzegovnia had a consolation on the final whistle through Dragan Blatnjak.

'My players have disappointed'
After the game, Bosnian coach Ibrahim Zukanovic said: "My players have disappointed. They did not play as they were supposed to and the visitors took advantage of all our mistakes and fully deserved the victory." His team cannot top the group and must win their final two games to retain any chance of qualification, starting with a trip to Luxembourg on Tuesday.

'We came here to win'
His opposite number, Per Matias Hogmo, said: "We came here to win and we did it. We started well and took advantage of two mistakes to win. My players deserved this victory." Norway are top of the group with one game left but will only stay there if Denmark, who have a match in hand, do not win at home to Romania on Tuesday.
