Edged out
This meant Norway finished level on points with Poland in second place in the group, but as they lost twice to the Poles in earlier group games the Scandinavians were edged out of second place.
Hakobyan strikes twice
FC Araks striker Ara Hakobyan did the damage for Armenia, scoring in the 65th and 82nd minutes. The victory left Armenia on 14 points, not enough to go forward to next week’s play-off draw.
