Two early goals from captain Grzegorz Krychowiak set Poland en route to victory against Moldova in UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying Group 6.
An early burst from the visitors left the hosts with it all to do, as Krychowiak powered in the opener from 25 metres with three minutes gone. The lead was doubled after a quarter of an hour, Krychowiak converting from the penalty spot after Artur Ioniţă had brought down Michał Kucharczyk.
Stefan Majewski's team were cruising when Tomasz Kupisz headed the third on 33 minutes, but it was a determined home side who came out after the break and Radu Gînsari and Artiom Haceaturov's penalty reduced arrears. Visiting nerves were jangling but substitute Mateusz Klich erased any doubt as he got the fourth. Vadim Costandachi received his second yellow card for Moldova in added time.
