Bosnia and Herzegovina made a solid start to 2013 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying Group 1, Miroslav Stevanović scoring twice in an away victory in San Marino.
San Marino had already lost 6-0 in Cyprus in the section's only game, and fell behind again after 18 minutes as Goran Zakarić – who had an early free-kick saved by Mattia Manzaroli – set up Nemanja Bilbija to open the scoring.
The lead was doubled seven minutes before half-time, Zakarić again doing the damage by picking out Stevanović to head in at the far post. The third and final goal arrived with 15 minutes left, Stevanović intercepting Matteo Colonna's back pass and rounding Manzaroli to roll in the third.
Belarus are next in action on 10 August, when they visit Greece, while San Marino travel to Germany on 1 September.
