Bosnia and Herzegovina heaped further misery on Albania as Mario Kvesić's penalty proved enough to inflict a fifth successive loss on the hosts.
The Bosnians' only points in UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying Group 4 had come in the reverse fixture in Zenica in June, and Vlado Jagodić's men repeated the trick courtesy of Kvesić's 38th-minute penalty which moved them level with third-placed Hungary on six points.
Haxhi Neziraj tested Kristijan Jajalo in the visiting goal with an early effort, but Albania were slowly pushed back and when Bosnian and Herzegovinian captain Jasmin Mešanović was fouled in the area by Amir Rrahmani, Kvesić did the business from the spot. Enis Kavazaj missed the target and Elvis Prençi worked the keeper as Albania tried to get back into it after half-time, but there was no way through and Jajalo's late stop from Gjelbrim Taipi ensured the hosts would not be opening their account tonight.
